Welcome to My Site
This is my personal website. Today I'm quite happy
coz, first time I'm hosting my website. May be my first attempt will not
be satisfactory one, but you have to bear with that. Still now it is not
fully completed. But you can expect it to be completed within couple of
days. I would like to thank some of my friends who have helped me to build
the website, especially Deepesh and Arghya for their encouragement.
About Me..!!
Hmmm... Writing about yourself is a tough
thing. . I think it is because you dwindle between what you think you are and what
other thinks you are, both of which are usually very different. Another perspective
adds what you think you ought to be. So .. here I am trying to write about myself
and trying to honor all the three opinions.
So.. I am Kalyan Moulick
(Ok you can call me Partho), aka Sona and a few other nicks which I dont feel like
mentioning here. Born in a middle class family in suburbs of Asansole(District- Burdwan) on July 9th.
Most of my childhood
was spent in
Diamond
Harbor
and Barasat(I still live here). In primary
school, I was often the most mischievous in my class and for the most of my primary
classes I was just a normal student. I was short tampered too but soon I learned
to control myself. (Now most of the people will agree now I'm very equable in nature).
So with my interests
in computers made me choose my career in IT. I earned earlier my Bachelors and completed
DAC from C-DAC.
Presently
[Edited, 2012], I'm working as .NET Lead Product Developer in Inmedius, a Boeing Company and continue sharpening my skills with
Advanced Windows and Web Development. I am also trying my developing skills with
this Web Site. Tell me if you liked it.. :p..
Umm.. Now if you still
haven't got bored of reading my history and geography, I can blah blah about my
hobbies and tastes.. .. :p..
I love reading books
and surfing the Internet.. My favorite authors in Bengali include Satyajit Ray, Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhhay, Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay, Tarashankar Bandyopadhaya, Shirshendu Mukherjee, Sunil Gangyopadhaya. I also like O Henry, Jack
London and Edgar Allan Poe, I love music.. Soft Rock, Ghazals and specially Bengali Songs. In
Bengali I like Suman Chatterjee, Anjan Dutta , and some the Bangla Band like "Cactus", "Mohiner Ghoraguli" and "Chandrabindoo". I like
Savage Garden
and Bryan Adams
very much. I love making friends and for the most of time I don't get any difficulties
in making new friends.
Like everyone else I
too have had my share of success and failures. For me these failures are more stimulating.
I love learning new things.
Argh.. I think I can write 10 more pages
about myself like this. I should stop somewhere :p. So why not here :p .. So here
was a small introduction to yours truly . Hope you liked it :p .
